Born and raised in the pearling town of Broome, North-West Australia, The Pigram Brothers have been active in the Australian music industry, in various guises for over fifteen years.

As founding memers of Indigenous Rock/Reggae group Scrap Metal, Alan, Stephen and Philip Pigram have released four albums and undertaken countless miles of national touring including a stint as backing band for the hit musical "Bran Nue Dae's 1993 season.
